Capitalism Day 2005

With memories of long nights spent rolling out fondant bedspreads still fresh on our minds after last year's tower, and while still basking in the afterglow our recent trip to France and Italy, we decided to simplify this year; call it simplicity with a European flair. Or, better yet, call it, "L'Arc de Capitalisme."

A brief aside for those of you who, rightly, exhibit disdain for all things French: yes, we agree, the politics of modern France merit annoyance at the very least, but it doesn't mean they didn't do some pretty cool stuff back in the day (especially when they were immitating the Romans). We hope those of you who have been eating Freedom Fries for the past few years will bear with us as you tour our annual tribute to capitalism and gingerbread despite the fact that it was inspired by Frogs.
